FREE MEDICAL CAMPS

We have come to realize that poverty of the masses is the worst and most common disease. It holds people from getting the badly needed medical treatment and sometimes surgeries even when provided at a fraction of prevalent cost. Sometimes, patients are not willing even to commute to a hospital to save costs.

As such, we are conducting regular medical-camps in nearby and distant villages where our team visits, examine patients and distribute essential medicines free of cost while those who need more intense care, are referred to hospitals. Samutkarsh Microfinance supports us in this activity.

AYUSHMAN BHARAT

AYUSHMAN BHARAT PM JAN AROGYA YOJANA has evolved into a panacea for a large number of beneficiaries who have been issued entitlement-letters by the Prime Minister’s office. It allows them to receive cashless medical treatment for upto Rs. 500,000 and covers most medical conditions. Often times, it saves a family from having to sell their land or resort to loan sharks in the event of a grave medical condition.  Ramkrishna Sewashram, being a non-profit institution, is a thrice awarded leader in the empanelled hospitals in the Vindhyachal Divison; in this scheme run by the Government of India and offers the following services free of all charges:

  • Making Golden Cards for people who are entitled to benefit from this scheme.
  • Provide cashless treatment to such entitled patients for a large number of diseases and surgical conditions.

The popularity of AYUSHMAN BHARAT YOJANA has shot up very fast and at our hospital, the number of footfalls and consequently, the number of patients that receive treatment, has multiplied several times. As such, another floor has been built and equipped and it houses 2 Operation Theatres and 4 wards.

Ramakrishna Sewashram has the distinction of being the fore-runner not only in Mirzapur district but the entire Vindhyachal divison and it has been awarded certificates to this effect consecutively for 3 years.

ICU

Ramakrishna Sewashram has a very well equipped modern ICU with 4 beds. It takes care of critical patients under a Tie-up with Tele-next, a pioneering Tele-ICU venture promoted by Dr. Sandeep Deewan (Director, Critical Care, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram). The equipments for the ICU had been donated by the Rotary Club Elite, Mirzapur and The Rotary Foudation.
